[puredyne] using broth to build a 9.11 iso

 yo!

been trying to make a custom iso with broth and not having anyluck

is there a way to check out a version of broth from bzr that will build
 a custom carrot and corriander
it seems that the devel branch is the main branch - i cant seem to find
 a stable branch?
i tried an old branch  lp:~puredyne-team/broth/ol_workshop but then
this script is out of date with the live builder version on the builder
 vserver
 ./broth.sh: line 34: lh_config: command not found

when i try the devel branch i get other errors:

 broth fails with this:
cp: cannot stat `chroot/boot/initrd.img-*': No such file or directory
 http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1680543
not sure why this has started happening - above thread seems to explain
it but am not sure how to apply that to broth

can we build 10.10 version with old style kernel?

 cheers

 rob

Re: [puredyne] using broth to build a 9.11 iso

hey puredynestics,

rob attempted another broth today (as pinged in the irc), but it did not
go through, the broth.log is to be found here:
http://pastebin.com/P5PtuWbF

any ideas how to get this to work?
ta & best,
adnan

just to provide a little more information:

this was built on the builder vserver
 rob@builder:~$ lh --version
 live-build, version 2.0.12-

  sudo ./broth.sh -o DVD -a i386 -d /home/rob

with a broth got yesterday like this:

 bzr clone lp:broth

is this a bug somewhere or some human error?

ok i have this working now - the solution this time was to revert to
the generic kernel from the liqorix kernel and stop the initd and
vmlinuz being renamed to vmlinuz1 - also some other tweeks in the broth
 script
 now all works good

 - maybe i should make a branch of broth for the generic kernel?

adnan your custom puredyne dvd is waiting for you :) am watching some
of the media from it now :)
