[puredyne] Sound recording app on system with less than 128MB RAM?!

A chap at a local LUG meeting asked what was the ideal application for
recording sound that would fit on a system running with 128MB RAM.

I said I would ask the experts!

You could take a look at ecasound, a command-line sound recording
tool. There are some other apps listed here:
