[puredyne] Package Manager issue!

I keep getting the following message

"Some of the packages could not be retrieved from server"
"Do you want to continue ignoring these packages"

I get this message when trying to install Streamtuner (which I could never get to work in Puredyne but tried since I left linux alone for the past month), Giver, and some of the new firefox updates. Thunderbird had issues as well

Plus I think I have written about this in the past but I would love to run Rakarrack and Guitarix in puredyne and can't, Kompzer would also be a great addition to Puredyne.

Also I was wondering do Asus Eee netbooks work well with Puredyne?

Thanks

Dave

Re: [puredyne] Package Manager issue!

eee netbook run really nicely with puredyne - I have the original (701) and it work like a charm, really smooth and crisp (video playback is killer and the small for factor makes it a charm to carry around and code anywhere) Screen is small for bigger apps, but work for a lot of them (love running seq24 or mixxx on that little beast)

as you can see I really love that machine ;)
