Re: [puredyne] Puredyne Digest, Vol 80, Issue 8

Hi list,

I'm also, on a HP dm1, 64-bit installation and I have the same malfunctions like those felix has mentioned. I'm working on supercollider, and I haven't spot yet the SCClassLibrary and plugins folders.

Any propositions, do you think I should have move to another distro?

best,
yorgos

My main computer is running with 8gm of ram with no problem... and on
puredyne - but I installed it
when I only had 4gb of memory - what do you mean to make it recognize
my 8gb ? can you install it on the laptop ?

Hi,

I solved the dispute by refunding the guy the 23?.

Claude has removed the Paypal button so we're good for future order
issues.

BUT, I see that there has been some recent key orders (21st dec, 4th
Jan, 14th Jan) but we have no way to know if the keys have been sent,
most likely not as the case I just closed was for an order passed before
these three.

So...

Anyone know where Karsten can be reached so we know what was the last
key(s) he sent? If they are not sent, I will refund them.

Once this is sorted I'll close the paypal account and put the money on
the Puredyne bank account. Or the other way around if it's cheaper to
use paypal to split the remaining money and close the HSBC account.

PS: the Flattr button should go too I think.

oops...
sorry for the noise :]

It was obviously an internal mail.

In case you wonder, we're stopping selling keys. More news on that soon.

Sorry, Geofroy, I meant that it seemed that the 64 bit Puredyne didn't
recognize my 8 gb ram, but I couldn't study further. I was having lots
of different not recognized hardware -sound, right mouse button,
wireless, contextual menu key, volume keys- and had to move to ubuntu
studio.
I am not able to take the time to fix all this right now because I
have a lot of work to do, so I guess I will have to wait for a
Puredyne update.
Thank you a lot
Felix

Hi -

Yes, it's looking like it's worth trying another distro - I'm enjoying
Ubuntu Studio (after a bit of customisation...)
